Mark was awarded First Place for his painting, “Swimming Lessons” in the Springville Museum of Fine Arts 92nd Annual Spring Salon show.

You can see it in person from April 20 – July 9, 2016 at the Springville Museum of Fine Art

The Springville Museum of Art plays host to what many consider, the premier art exhibit within the state of Utah.
It was first held in 1922, by students and teachers of Springville High School who wanted to exhibit and promote original artwork. The Spring Salon has been held annually since that time, except during World War II when fuel and other goods were rationed nationwide. The Springville Museum of Art continues the tradition today and invites all artists in Utah to participate in the 92nd Annual Spring Salon. This exhibition is a juried competition that showcases the diversity and quality of contemporary Utah art.

“Not only is it an incredible show that’s been around since 1922, showcasing some of the best art and talented artists Utah has to offer but they also do a lot to help the community as well. It’s an incredible organization that I am thrilled to be associated with.”
