Superman !
It was a real pleasure to portray my son as the super hero of his choice. Those are all Brig's own muscles, only the clothes were changed "to protect the innocent."

Though not restricting myself to figurative work, I find people to be the most compelling of subjects. I aim to achieve likeness with a real sense of life, personality.

I enjoy having the mark and movement of the brush visually apparent in the paint. I strive for a quality of touch, varied and flexible. It is my intention to apply the supple body of the paint, hue, chroma and values in such a way that they have to dance - a lively performance in painting, creating a stimulating visual journey for the viewer.

Having received a Master of Fine Art degree from the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts (PAFA) in May 2011, I am now combining fresh skills and discipline with new freedoms and expressive challenges.
