This painting is somewhat of a hybrid, in that I joined imagery of my daughter and the distant mountains of Utah with the yards and homes of Lansdowne, PA.

There is a bit of metaphor in showing the girl’s current mode of transportation and the grown up mode of transportation which will be hers in the not too distant future. Also, there will be an exchange of this outdoor play-world for the future home-world she will one day have.
