Gabriella is beautiful inside and out, a real class act, an intelligent, strong woman, a friend.
 
Centered on the canvas her body is turned 3/4 to our left while her head is turned to face us. Her left arm is visible, bent at the elbow as she holds a large bouquet of tropical flowers in front of her.
 
Painting the amazing lace dress was a time consuming labor of love, I was determined to get all those lovely rich and warm colors just right. The background is loosely painted in tones of gray, getting darker toward the bottom with a floor surface implied.
